29er Nationals Torquay 

Last week saw the 29er fleet attending the National Championships in Torquay.  The event was over 5 days, but due to lack of wind and too much wind on separate occasions the 60 boat strong fleet only managed to get 8 races on the score board. 

6 boats competed from Royal Lymington YC with lots of pairings on the leader boards.

Jonny Rogers and Charlie Gran placed the highest Lymington boat coming 6th overall. 

Dirk Rogers and Will McEwen hot on their heels in 8th, also coming 2nd Junior. 

Freya Hutchinson and Joanna MacAlister placed 11th overall, 2nd Female overall and 3rd Junior. 

Jonny and Charlie also won the crews race!! 

Great first nationals for Freddie and Felix Howe, William Hutchinson, Harry Draper and Rory Armstrong. We can’t wait to see how you all get on this year at the next event!
