RACING AT THE RLymYC

With one of the world’s most renowned sailing areas right on our doorstep, the Solent provides an unparalleled setting for our racing programme.

Stretching approximately 30 nautical miles in length and 5 miles in width, with all-year-round and all-tide accessibility, it offers racing opportunities that are second to none.

We take pride in delivering a racing calendar that combines quality, variety, and competitiveness, catering to everyone—from those looking for fun and social connections to the most dedicated race teams.

Our fleet of committee boats, safety boats, and mark-laying RIBs ensures a professional standard of race support. Many of our experienced race officers, who have officiated at international and Olympic levels, also share their expertise through coaching sessions, welcoming sailors of all ages to develop their skills.

And when the racing wraps up, our inviting bar and restaurant provide the perfect setting to recount stories from the racetrack and celebrate the day’s achievements.
