Welcome

Situated in a stunning riverside location with easy access to the Solent, the historic Royal Lymington Yacht Club is one of the world’s finest yacht clubs; a warm and welcoming home of yachting, dinghy sailing and motor boating. We pride ourselves on our superb clubhouse and facilities, including our popular bar and restaurant (book a table here).

Established a century ago, our club holds an enviable record of success on the water. We run regular dinghy and keelboat racing throughout the season, as well as cruising days, rallies and meets - for motor boats as well as yachts. A prominent RYA affiliated training centre, we provide regular training courses and host a breadth of racing and sailing regattas, championships and events.

Our thriving Junior and Youth section welcomes sailors to join regular year-round training and inspires a life-long passion for sailing. We have a busy social programme for members of all ages, with clubs, activities and lectures taking place throughout the year. Our rooms are available for private hire for meetings, conferences, celebrations and other events.

We welcome new members including experienced sailors and those new to the water. Explore our website to find out more about what we can do for you and what we have going on this season, or scroll down to find out more about our rich history and excellent facilities...
