Powerboat Winter Lecture by Lymington RNLI Chairman Steve Billett
On Thursday 17th November we're delighted to be welcoming Steve Billett.
Staying Alive is a very personal and emotional story involving a boat, Totland Bay, an innocent swim, drowning and a dramatic rescue and the actions of so many people. It is a talk which seeks to share the mistakes made, the learning and understanding of how the innocence was replaced by a nightmare that could happen to anyone of us. Steve Billett will take us through what happened on the evening of the 12th August this year in Totland Bay. Staying alive - literally.
The lecture will start at 18:30 prompt, so we recommend you arrive in good time to get a drink from the bar to take to your seat in the Island Room. If you would like to stay for supper please book a table directly with the restaurant on 01590 671751 or email sail@rlymyc.org.uk
